Rev. Rul. 66-185

Amounts paid pursuant to the Pennsylvania Domestic Excise Tax Act of 1953, section 1827.3 of Title 72, Purdom's Pennsylvania Statutes Annotated, for the privilege of exercising corporate franchises or other powers or privileges within the State are deductible from gross income as taxes under section 164(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
